One of Lao Tzu's quotes says “A good traveler has no fixed plans and is not intent on arriving.” I found a nice interpretation of it in a PDI article written by Margie David-Collins. She says that to travel is to leave the everyday behind, to become a curious and cheerful refugee from the weary sighs, slights, hurts and disappointments of the modern world.
Sounds like I'm traveling everyday. Haha... It's also a nice perspective on travel in this time of H1N1 when it isn't advisable to travel (no matter how tempting airfare promos are!).
